I normally would have picked the Dodge, but with this pairing, I just think the Edsel looks better.

Way, way too easy for me today with this one.  I vote EDSEL!  After the disappointing '59 Edsel, this '60 version was so refreshing!  Yes, it was on the Ford body, but hey, to my eyes it looked better than the '60 Ford.  Sadly, after only a couple of months of production for the '60 model, the marque was gone from the car scene.  I've always lamented over the demise of the Edsel.

I voted Dodge. To me ,what Ford did to that Starliner is a crime.

Okay, perhaps a dumb question.  But I'm curious.  Why do some members here on the Forum, only vote for the daily "Which One?", but don't comment?  I ask because for me, it's the comments that are shared that make this daily feature provided by John Bono interesting.  It's fun to read "why" one likes or dislikes certain cars.  I mean, it's easy to click "Like" or "Dislike", but it tells us nothing.  So am I alone here?

@100ford2003  Me too Steve. Dad had a '60 Dodge when I was a kid. I've always loved that bodystyle. 💯

George, not a dumb question...I guess some just want to remain anonymous for whatever reason. Whatever floats one's boat.

Dodge was my first thought, but second thought the Dodge is over decorated/too busy for my taste, Edsel today please.

Neither car does much for me but I give the nod to the Dodge.  The deciding factor is the hideous Edsel tail lights.

@david-green Very true David but this beholder wanted to poke his eyes out when this car's tail end was first seen.  Lol.  I always thought it was such a shame because the rest of the car design flows fairly well.

I'm still a product of my youth. During the Edsel years, no one I ever knew or listened to, liked the brand. Quite honestly, I did not either. However, the 60 model year looked pretty good since it took on more of a Ford look when it lost the 'horse collar' grille.

Brilliant match-up here John. The Dodge, to me, has that sleek jet-like 'look' all the designers were going for in the era. The fins, the aero-simulation of the front as it flies back to the afterburner taillights. The Dart for the win for me.
