@moe-parr I'm with you on the Mercury's taillights. They were iconic looking then and remain so today to my eyes.

MERCURY without hesitation for #1. Followed by the Edsel (for its seemingly customized look) and then the Ford.
I found the '60 Mercury to be such a pleasant relief over the over-chromed and odd looking '59. It seemed like there was chrome put on it, just for the sake of putting chrome on it. But the '60 exploded for me, as a car that had a lot of thought put in to it, to make it flow perfectly. And those '60 Mercury taillights rank among my favorites of any model year since the '55 and '56 Mercury's.
Regarding the Edsel, it was certainly a nice comeback after its "Plain Jane" '59 version. That along with the (all ready) stated rarity of the car, makes it a solid #2 for me here.
And then the Ford. Strangely, I like the '60 Ford in the top-of-the-line version, but as the low-end model (of course not pictured), that was down-right ugly! But as the top end version, it's a classic design.

No worries - I figured that, the Monterey is OK, but the extra bling on the Park Lane is what I find appealing. With that, as always, your selections with these posts are very interesting and I really enjoy them each day.

Another tough choice but the Mercury is my favorite here.

For me it's Ford, Mercury, Edsel.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
