I love both cars and had a white over metallic blue '63 Impala BUT it is no match for the stunning Grand Prix. The best year for this car IMHO.
GP. I didn't even look at the photos first. The 1963 GP is one of my favorites of all time; elegant yet clearly powerful.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I do like that Impala - a LOT! But the sixty-three Grand Prix steals this show for me. Pontiac please Mr. B!!
I owned a ‘63 Impala but that Pontiac outdoes it.

Gotta go with the rest here. The GP is nearly iconic.

GP for me. The eight lug wheels are the cherry on the sundae.
@bob-jackman, I wonder why they stopped making those wheels? They were incredible and distinctive.

Gee....I wonder if either of these cars were done by Goldvarg would they be sellouts?
@jack-dodds I’ve talked about my ‘63 in the forums. My second cousin wanted a new Catalina after seeing one in late ‘62. She insisted on a manual trans because she learned to drive with one, and really enjoyed rowing the gears. She also wanted the tri-color Ventura interior, which was making it very difficult on our local dealer. They finally found one in Indiana, and when she pulled up in front of our house, this 11 year old car nut fell in mad, passionate, love. Midnight blue, tri-blue interior, 421 HO, 4 speed, bench seat, dash tach, and 8 lugs! They sold it to me 25 years later. I lost storage and disposable income, and had to sell. Big, big regret.
This pic isn’t my car, but is exactly like mine.
