I like both of these cars very much but prefer the Ford stacked headlight nose and tail light treatment to that of the Mercury. I liked the 1965-66 versions of both these cars better than the '67.

MERCURY for me please!  And for the record, I'd take a Mercury over a Ford for every year from 1949 to 1970.

Another Ford vote for the reasons stated upthread.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

Two very nice cars for that vintage. I'll take the looks-like-it's-moving-while-standing-still Ford.

I agree with JK.  Instinct was to automatically go for the Mercury because it looks more classic, but with more detailed search, find the Ford grille treatment more impelling and general demeanour ready to spring into action!

Prefer the streamlined look of the Ford. It appears to be in motion even when it's parked.
