Not my preferred year of choice for either, but in a narrow vote, I go with the Chevy!

I voted for the smooth Plymouth.

Both of these cars are very nice for sure but I prefer the following year for both as their noses and tail ends were made even more attractive.  With that said, I give a very narrow win to the Chevelle styling.

My exact same sentiments. Or condiments - whichever.

Even though I liked the style of the 68-69 Chevelle's, I did not like the taillights.  Being a big Mopar fan of the 60'-70's.  My vote goes to the Plymouth.

Style-wise, the bigger, brawnier Plymouth for me.

Plus, in my view, it also has the superior engine/transmission/suspension.

Plymouth please.   The only Chevelle I liked was the '70. but I liked the GTX better.

Gents, gotta mix thing up to minimize repeating the same subjects.

I imagine you working with a big spreadsheet all to make us happy!

Ed, in reality, replace "a big spreadsheet" with a looseleaf binder and an overstuffed file folder. As far as "make us happy" I learned a long time ago you can't make every one happy all the time.

Right John. It's impossible for everyone to see their favorite cars all the time. That's what makes this so much fun - making a decision on a car that isn't necessarily a favorite, or even better, when neither is a favorite - it's doubly difficult/fun.  Cool
