Without hesitation, the PONTIAC!  I was never a fan of the roof styling on the Mercury.

Ditto. The GTO slays. Lose the vinyl roof though.

I guess I am the only one to go with the Mercury.  Like the Pontiac, but the Mercury as only for a year or two and the Pontiac was around longer.

Good point John. I like both but give the nod to the Cyclone in this pairing. The nose and colour helped.

Don't care for the fastback roof on the Mercury, Don't care for GM mid-size styling after '67. '68 CHARGER or Coronet, no interest in either of the cars presented.

Probably because the Mercury wasn't as popular.  While the Pontiac was selling with a stayed styling.  Just a thought.
