Chevelle is the straight away winner out of this pairing.  Even though the 68 is the same car, I did not like it as much as the 69 with the bigger taillights.  This is one of my favorite Chevelle's with the 70 coming in 2nd.

I like both cars but LOVE the same cars of different years. They are equally appealing to me so a tie is what I voted.

I voted for the Chevelle. I'm not a fan of that Torino body style. If the Torino presented had been the hardtop instead of this "fastback" it would have been my choice. Steve

Ditto. Its looks and its engineering best the Ford by a lot.

Easy one for me today.  CHEVELLE!  That roofline and airplane landing hood on the Ford is not attractive to my eyes at all.  I've always disliked Fastback type styling on cars.

The '69 Chevelle is my favorite year of this 5 year body style; its grille, tail lights and C pillar being the reasons.  The Ford is a nice looking car but I much prefer the coupe version as the fastback looks a bit chunky IMHO.

Yes, stylewise it's the Chevy. No contest.

I really like the Chevelle, but, to my eye, the Ford looks more nimble and sleeker. Both seem to have extraordinary power plants.

The only fastback I liked was the Mustang. The only Chevelle I liked was the '70.  For '69 mid-size give me the Charger, Coronet.

Comparing the cars shown, in my opinion the Chevelle looks better. But I would not have bought either one in the day.

I did buy in '69

8 69 Charger

Used Charger after I totaled the new Coronet R/T after 10 months & 36,??? miles

Dodge I paid for (5)

Chevelle for me. A friend has a 69 Torino SCJ 428 notchback which I prefer over the slant back comparison.
