The styling of the Charger is more to my liking; although I much prefer the 1968-69 versions of both these cars.

Me 2. I voted R/T.
Charger for me too, although both were moving from classical to baroque in styling.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Well, I like both. But for me, it comes down to the grill styling, and COUGAR wins by mile.

That's not a Cougar, George, it's a Montego.Well, I like both. But for me, it comes down to the grill styling, and COUGAR wins by mile.

The Charger wins easily for me, not only for styling, but also for what I believe to be far superior engine/transmission/suspension choices.

They are both beauties and at the absolute height of the muscle car era.

Correct you are! Thus the reason for erasers on pencils. Not sure why I typed Cougar, but I still like the grill better.

George I too pick the Mercury for it's grill. Now if the Dodge was a Challenger my hands down pick would be Dodge which to me is the prettiest MoPar muscle car.
Voted for the Charger. I prefer the 68 and 69, but it still has the basic same body shape. I don' like look of the Mercury's front end.
Two fine examples of American Muscle...going with the Charger.

Easy vote for me, the Dodge without even looking.
