It's a tie for me. I could not choose, love them all.
What, no MOPAR?
In the absence of Plymouth or Dodge, I'll go with the Pontiac.

Chevy, good looking then, good looking now,. 👀. The other two are pretty cool also rans.

All great cars but, Chevrolet, Pontiac, then Ford.
THE GTO JUDGE!
Truth be told though, this was tougher than I thought. I like the Torino a lot, and that color is a killer! Love it! But I like the GTO styling better, I just don't like it in bland, boring white. So I imagined the GTO in the Torino color, and my decision was then easy. The GTO in that hot ORANGE owns the road for me. Oh yea, the Chevelle? Not even a contender.

Barry, I originally had a Plymouth GTX in the mix but decided last minute to go with the Pontiac just to be different.

GTO is not in the same price point as the other two. Pontiac, Mercury, Dodge. Chevy, Ford, Plymouth. If '65 , '66, or '67 I would have chosen the Pontiac but in 1970 I would have chosen the missing GTX, but it's not there soooo I'll go with the Ford followed by the Chevy with the Pontiac last.

Me too. That Chevy was considered king of the hill in its time.

Bruce, sometimes to keep things interesting, we have to color outside the lines.

@sizedoesmatter WHAT LINES, i DON'T SEE NO STINKIN LINES! ha ha.
Where did that line come from?
American mid-size cars, 1970, the order of my preferences:
1. Dodge Charger R/T SE
2. Plymouth GTX 440x6
3. Chevrolet Chevelle 454
3. Dodge Coronet R/T
4. Ford Torino GT 429 Super Cobra Jet
5. Buick Skylark GSS 455
6. Oldsmobile Cutlass 442
7. AMC Rebel Machine
8. Mercury Cyclone GT Boss 429
9. Pontiac GTO
Love the GTO, but because the Torino is the most seldom seen if the three today, I chose it. That fantastic color helped too.
