going with Ford here.  I owned a 68 Charger and did not like the look in 72 (although it was a beast under the hood).  The Torino looks like a muscle car.

I believe that this is a first for me... I like both equally.

Both have features that I both like and dislike. On this pair, I choose a tie.

By 1972 the Charger was not looking to good to me.  I like the look of the TORINO, especially the "open-mouth" grille.  I vote TORINO!

Charger! Not only for looks, but engine/transmission/suspension.

Torino, one year only front bumper and grill design before they had to put truck bumpers on cars in 1973.

I chose no interest.  Just did not like the front end treatment on either!

I don't care for this era of Charger.  I like the Ford but prefer the earlier grille treatment it had.

Dodge Charger;  I have a model on order.

Oops!  Just checked.  It is a '69 that I have on order.

Both are really nice but I'm going with the Torino. I recall when it came out in '72.  I was never so excited about a Ford.  I was prejudiced in favor of GM cars back then.

The drive train on the Charger is killer, but it's the styling of the Torino that wins my vote.

Torino. The earlier Chargers were beautiful but they took a turn for the worse by 1972 IMO.
