Gents, after today I'll be taking a short break. I'll be taking advantage of the fall weather.

'61 or '64 Buick?

The 61 has a better look. 👀

With the '64, apart from the trademark "W" nose (not really visible in this image) Buick seem to have made virtually no effort to achieve any distinctive identity. Visually, it's just a generic "barge". The 61 has some distinctive style to it, and gets the vote.

Gotta agree with Graeme on this one. I like the '64 but it's not as distinctive as the '61.

I prefer the styling of the '61 between these two examples but if the '64 was a Wildcat it would win.

Not really fond of either, but for sure I DON'T LIKE the '61.  Those pointy fenders are too much for my taste.  So my vote goes to the Yacht sized '64.

A few years ago, I'd probably would have chosen the '64, but now I've really grown to like the style of the '61 with it being my next choice after the 1960 for 60s Buick style.

61 for it's distinctive styling details and sculptured body panels.

Going with the '61 for its great lines...love the pointed front fenders. I also took my drivers road test in a '61 Buick back in 1961.

The 1961 also appeals most to me. Thanks John.

Sorry to be contrary, but '64 Buick is for me the ultimate in flat, straight-line styling. I like their clean surfaces.
