Great! I'm not taking that Dodge! It not only lost, it blew up!!

Basic as it was, the Mustang. Not interested in losers.
The CHARGER all the way! Not a fan of the Mustang styling or look.

Mustang. The Mustang had mag wheels while the Dodge had wheel covers which it lost during the chase scenes. I can't vote for a car that can't keep its wheel covers on while being filmed.
Dodge is a classy piece of styling that has stood the test of time (with or without wheel covers).
Mustang? Crude and clumsily styled by comparison. No contest.

Mustang. Smaller and more nimble, if less attractive. Plus love the mags.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
The Mustang for appearance, due mostly to the mag wheels. But, the sound of the Charger at the beginning of the chase, when he nailed the gas pedal, is one of the greatest engine notes I've heard from a factory exhaust system. Great scene!
The '68 is the most beautiful Charger ever made IMHO and I love the drive train. I am a Mustang freak but the '68 Stang, although very nice, just doesn't compare.
CHARGER no comparison to the Rustang. Heck the Rustang didn't even have a limited slip rear in it.
'68 Charger & the '57 Thunderbird the two cars I love the styling of most in the entire auto industry.
You forgot the other "star car" from Bullitt. I've always loved it and was very happy to see so many manufactures deciding to make models of it! 😎 😎 😎
@chris I think the VW Bug and Pontiac Lemans or is it a GTO, had a more significant role than the Taxi.
