They are all very attractive (and in the Lincoln's case, very imposing) automobiles. I have replicas of all of these in scale form, except for the Edsel, of which I have some 1957 editions.
@michaeldetorrice C’mon John, I’d walk past
all of these to get to the T-Bird! But, since I see what you’re up to I’d go for the grocery-getter Ford.
Michael, I'm thinking the Edsel you have is a '58, that's the first year it was introduced. They are all very attractive (and in the Lincoln's case, very imposing) automobiles. I have replicas of all of these in scale form, except for the Edsel, of which I have some 1957 editions.

Kevins, I'm only showing full size cars as you figured out. BTW the T-bird in your response is a great looking 1960.@michaeldetorrice C’mon John, I’d walk past

Continental..go big or go home.
Going with the Continental for its outlandish looks and tied for 2nd., are the other three.
>>>Michael, I'm thinking the Edsel you have is a '58, that's the first year it was introduced.<<<
Oops, that's right ! It is a 1958 Edsel released at the end of 1957 with the other automobiles from all the manufacturers. I have two 1/18 '58 Edsels, and a 1/43 YM '58 Edsel convertible. I also happily have some 1958 scale Fords, Lincolns, T-Birds, Buicks, Cadillacs and Chevys.
Along with the other 1958 Ford autos, they are all good-looking cars in my view, even if the Edsels were bit quirky/unusual in the front grille. 1958 was a recession year in the U.S. so it was a bit of a struggle for everyone.
I voted Mercury. They're all awkward so I went most weird.

Ford, Mercury, Edsel, then Continental for me, 1958 was a good year for the Ford lineup.
1. Ford (but no skirts)
2 Edsel (cause it’s an Edsel)
3 Conny (design we will never see again)
4 Mercury (eh square)
Ford styling wins this one easily with Edsel second; the other two do nothing for me at all. '58 was not a great year for FOMOCO styling IMHO.
1) EDSEL
It was all new, different, and fun to look at. I loved it then, and still do. I've always felt that FoMoCo panicked and buried it too early. We got a very bland, looks like a Ford versions of the Edsel for '59 and '60 and it was gone.
2) MERCURY
It was totally new for '57 and totally divorced from looking like a Ford. For me that was what made it cool. And truth was, it made the statement that if you wanted to really move up from the entry level Ford, MERCURY was the way you did it.
3) FORD
It too was quite removed from its previous two year styling and both the taillight arrangement (minus the round lights) and attractive (to me) open mouth grill were pleasing in this year of over-indulgence.
4) LINCOLN
Now this was over-indulgence on steroids. Big, bulbous, bloated, and oddly boxy looking. It's completely overkill for me. I couldn't walk past one fast enough, as I'd never want even a stop and glance, to indicate I approved of it.

1958 IMO was the most outlandish year for styling of American cars and I don't care for outlandish.
1. Thunderbird [even if it is not listed] 2. Ford, 3. Lincoln, 4. Mercury, 5. Edsel.
The Ford or T-bird are the only ones I would buy. Ford for today's vote.
