Yer killin me! OK! Tonight, it's the T-Bird. Tomorrow it might be the Lincoln, or the Merc...or maybe the Ford.

Mercury tied with Ford for first, then T-Bird third and Lincoln fourth.
1. T-bird, 2. Galaxie are close, the Lincoln & Mercury a distant tie for 3rd.
Tbird, Continental, Ford, and Merc. Great underrated lineup.

1. Ford was all new and I’ve always liked the design.
2. Mercury is a Mercury, not a dressed up Ford.
3. T Bird is a 3rd year design and showing her age.
last..Lincoln. Just too big.

The Thunderbird. I think it's a 1959 but '58-60 are very similar so any of the three would get my vote. All known as square birds. I like the tube grill look of the '59.
1) MERCURY 2) Thunderbird 3) Ford 4) Lincoln
Had you added (the short lived '60) Edsel to the mix, I'd have put it in 2nd place. My personal problem with Ford for '60 was that as a top-line car, it was gorgeous. But as a low-end plain-Jane sedan, it was (to my eyes) unattractive and cheap looking. As for the Edsel, yes it was on the Ford body, but (again to my eyes) the rear taillights and the grill were the strong points over the Ford. JMO. Great comparisons John!

It’s a tie for me between the ‘60 Ford & the ‘60 T’bird…don’t like the Lincoln at all, but the Merc is a close 2nd to the tie.
