The 58 Impala for me. I love all the 55 thru 65 Chevys in particular but between these two I like the roofline and rear end styling of the 58 just a bit more than the 60.
This one for me is easy. The 1958 is hands down the best looking Chevrolet of the Fifties. Taking it a step further, the '58 Chevy is the best looking car of General Motors brand line-up for that year, and also the best looking of any '58 from either Ford Motor Company or Chrysler Corporation as well.
The '58 Chevrolet's rear-end treatment and roof-line make the car look rich and elegant. It looks like a much more expensive car than it really was.

In my opinion, best looking Chevy of the '50's is the '55. The '58 Chevy is the 2nd best looking of GMC in 1958 [the Caddy series 62 looked better]. '58 the Ford looked as good as the Chevy, the Dodge & the DeSoto looked better than the Chevy. I do like the roof line better on the '58 than the '60.
I choose the '60 please. Would prefer the '61 - '64 though.
Love the '60, but the '58 Impala is in a league of its own.
