I really like all three but I got my driver's licence with the 1955, so it goes to the head of the pack.

1955. Chevy got it right out of the gate. Also, my birth year.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

Of the "Tri-Chevy's", I've always been partial to the '55.  Chevy got it so right and the next two years seemed to sway away from the classic look just enough to lose me.  That said, I've always loved all three.

I'm partial to the 1956.  IMO, it represents a refinement of the 1955 model, and it's not as gingerbready as the 1957. Plus 1956 was the first year of the Bel Air Sports Sedan.  Wow, four doors and no center posts!

I choose the "56 also.
To me, it's the best looking of the 3.

Going with the '55 since that was my first car.

[PIC]  The '56 is my fave of the trio. I only have one in my collection, a rare 1:18 four door hardtop from Precision Miniatures in Laurel Green and Crocus Yellow:

The 55 Chevy is my favorite car in its price range in that decade.  I like all the tri-fives though; 55,56 then 57 in order of preference.

The '55, clean and classic, right off-the-bat.
