1956 for me. I prefer the body color headlight surrounds, fins, and color separation.

I prefer the  more understated tail end of the '55 and its color separation trim lines.  Both are very nice cars and I would be proud to own either of them.

Love the Mother's Day presentation John and the thoughtful additional information link you provide. Neither are favorites but both are really nice cars - love to own either as a collector vehicle. Not a fan of the fins of the 55 - they look tacked on. Hate the skirts of the 56 but they are removable. Like Ed & John, i like the headlight bezels of the 56. But I like the color breaks of the 55. Well that equals a tie I guess.

Happy Mother's Day!

Ah yes the Le fem. Both years were neat IMO. I favor the 55 over the 56 by a slight margin but would love to own either.

@bob-jackman I feel the same about the styling of the '55 vs.'56 Plymouth and Imperial Bob.

I'm going with the '55 because it was a radical departure from '54 and helped set the tone for Mopars for the next 6 years.

I chose the 56 because that is the vehicle that I passed my driver’s licence way back when. That has got to be worth something.

It's worth a ton! But are you saying you'd have flunked your driver's test in a '55??  LOL!  Smile
