The Galaxie wa a nice vehicle during this period. I especially like the clean lines of the 1965 edition. The 1966 looks a little more cluttered to me but still looks very good. The 1964 looks more bulky, not quite as appealing. Thanks John.
1965 is one of my favorite Fords. It wins. 1966 next.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
On design alone, I'd go with the '65. As for these three, I'd have to go with that gorgeous 7 Liter.

Slight edge to the 66 over 65. I would like to have either one. 👀👍

No contest for me...the '66 is #1 in my book. I think it's an absolutley 'handsome' design.
The '65 is next but just a bit too plain looking to me.
The '64 is butt ugly to me. I don't know how it's styling snuck into the Ford lineup between the goodlooking '63 and '65.

What he said.
Easy tonight. The '64 by a landside! The "square box" styling for the other two, lost me.

LOL, man do we differ. I think the '64 is drop-dead gorgeous! While the other two do nothing for me. For the early Sixties, Ford's '62, '63, and '64 oozed with good looks, and they went south after that.

Again, all three are nice. 1st choice for me is the '66, with the '64, '65 following.

Today it is the '61, '63, '62, '66, '64, '65, '67, '60, '68 the way I see the Galaxie the years I liked them. Disliked the first generation '59, loved the second generation '60 - '64, liked the third generation '65 - '68, don't care for the rest '69 - '74.
I didn't care for them either after '68.
To me they got too big and frumpy looking. Then when those huge bumpers came in....well forget it.
I've only had a few cars all my life. I always took care of them and they lasted forever with California's weather.
