Poll: Which Ford? (9/27/2021)

Both are nice but I find the lines of the 1965 Galaxie much cleaner.

1965 for the win. Another favorite of mine, like pretty much all of 1965's fullsize cars. It looks so much more modern and cleaner to me.

Also, an overdue thank you for these polls, John. It's an enjoyable daily ritual for me.

I like both of them, but I think the '64 is much more stylish.  I was never a big fan of stacked headlights on the big Fords, they require more frontal area and make the '65 look a bit boxy.

This one was easy.  THE '64!  After that year, to my eyes Ford styling went south.  My Dad bought a new '65 Ford and I was upset that he'd traded his '57 Chrysler Saratoga for it.

I like the stacked headlights and square rear lights on the 65.

Love the Ford Galaxie, 1960 - 1964 and the 1965 - 1968, '59 & '69 up no thank you.  Almost voted tie but went for the '65.  My order '61, '63, '66, '62, '65, '64, '60, '67, '68. 

I really like both of them, since I need to make a choice, a very slight edge to the '64. I guess the more rounded look of the '64 is a bit more appealing. Now if this was a '66, well...

The 65 for me!  I remember as a teen in Sept. '64 when the 1965 FOMOCO lineup was presented.  I was very pleasantly surprised by the radical styling changes; particularly to the Ford.  I liked all the earlier 60s Fords but the crisper, more squarish lines and stacked headlights really appealed to me and still do.  It was a great era because the styling from the Big 3 was so different from one another.
