Easy one tonight.  I vote for the RED one!  Smile To my eyes from '62 through '64, FORD hit three homeruns in a row and then lost their styling minds again in '65.

I like both but would pick the 1964 as my driver. Red suites them.

I like the 62 a bit more, particularly the headlight and front grille treatment.

The '64 for its beautifully sculpted exterior, and, like JK, the killer interior.

I love both of them but would go with the '62.  To my eyes its lines are a bit crisper and I much prefer the grille and tail end design and trim.  I do agree though that the '64 interior is awesome.

Six of one, half dozen of the other. I'll take the 1965.

Like both but favor the 64 a bit more. My real favorite is the 63

@david-green I agree with you David.  The 64 was my favorite out of the 3 year run.

Voted '62 prefer the exterior but the '64 XL interior is better.  My order of like for the Second Generation Galaxie is; '61, '63, '62, '64, '60.

@ed-glorius   For some reason the stacked headlight design of the '65 thru '67 Ford Galaxie seems to polarize public opinion.  Personally I love those particular design years and although I love the '64 (and all 60s Ford Galaxies for that matter), I find the crisp, edgier styling of the stacked headlight years very appealing.  I feel the same about the lines of the 65 thru 68 Mercury too (headlights not being part of the issue of course).

It seems that Pontiac started the ball rolling with their gorgeous '63 Pontiac line, especially the absolutely stunning Grand Prix.  Ford somewhat belatedly jumped in with their '65 full size Fords and Mercury Comet and Chrysler with their Plymouth.  What I find interesting is that the "Big 3" companies seemed to have limited their stacked headlight design to basically one car in their non-luxury lineups.  Chevy, Buick, Olds, Mercury, Dodge, Chrysler stayed conventional; perhaps to placate both sides of public opinion on the stacked headlight look and retain customers.

For me it's the '64 by a small margin.

@ed-glorius

I prefer the '63 & '65 over the two years shown.
