Man! I love those Bullet Birds, but I'm voting for the, to my eye, more refined design of the '64.

Tough choice, but I'm going Bullet Bird.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Comparing the two side by side it has only just struck me that the '64 retains its 'bullet-bird' leading edge but the fender points are simply cut away, with edges above and below the headlamp housings, 'right-angling' to return back along the body sides. What are apparently two very different styles, are - but for the fender points - quite similar. That said, I agree with John: much as I love the bullet-bird, I find the '64 more refined.
I prefer the 64. The bullet birds were cool at the time but to me didn’t age as well as the other versions before and just after. 👍

Neither year really grabs me, but not wanting to vote a Tie, I'll vote for the '64 as #1.

Loved the Babies, liked the Squares a lot, disliked the the '61 - '63, liked the '64 - '66, disliked all the rest of the T-birds exception being the '87 - '88 Turbo Coupe. I'm surprised at the poll results, I was under the impression most people liked the '61 - '63 over the '64 - '66.
I voted tie tonight cuz I can't decide. I love both !

For me it's the '63 by a mile. It seems that the T-Bird design really went south after 1963. I had a black '64 and disliked driving it so sold it after a short while.
to my eye 2 of the most beautiful cars of all time, no hope of splitting them
Interesting choice. Both have design traits that appeal but the bullet bird carries the day this time.
Love both, but the '64 has the slight edge today.

The ‘64, why, well my first car (@16yrs old) was a pristine turquoise’64 coupe. Bought it in 1969 for $869.00!
Love the ‘63, but the ‘64’s interior was miles ahead in styling and creature comforts.
