I usually dislike Cadillac wagon conversions, to me they appear more like a professional car. That's not the case with this, maybe it's the color and the wood trim. I'm liking this one.

I was always very cold to expensive cars having station wagon models. Today I'm bothered by Cadillac and Lincoln having SUV's. Buying an expensive car to haul junk in just doesn't seem right. That's why we had Chevy's, Ford's, Plymouth's, etc. JMO.

I think of Packard, Chrysler, and other high-end wagons as the cars that a fancy resort would use to transport guests and their luggage to and from the train station. I think that's how the term "station wagon" arose!

That is an interesting theory. I've never heard that before or thought about station wagons in that vain. Makes sense though.
