Olds stands out as so much more ahead of the game.  Not sure I’ve ever seen one of those Mercury before.

It may surprise some here on the board, but the DeSoto to my eyes is the styling beauty.

To my eye, the Merc and DeSoto look very similar. I know most folks don't see it that way. In any event, I'll take the Olds.

Olds styling is more modern and attractive to my eye.  Mercury is second and DeSoto third.  All are nice cars though.

Were there other choices besides the Olds? 😉

IMO Oldsmobile was to the 50s what Pontiac became in the 60s: superstars.

If the Olds had a V-8 that would have made my choice much easier.  But, in the end that's the one I like the best.
