Once again, I prefer the Packard to the others for 1949.

As before, Cadillac leads the way in 1949.

Cadillac styling wins by a mile; Packard a respectful second and Lincoln a distant third.

Packard leads the way, perhaps not into the future, but definitely into the weighty position of dominance in 1949.  Lincoln looks good, but perhaps shares too much with kid brother Mercury.  Cadillac has the flash and probably captures the "first time of this class" buyers, which is enough to set a styling trend that will dominate for years.  Sorry, Packard, but my heart is still with you, so you're my choice.

LINCOLN!  The other two are elephants.

Yes, I changed my vote.  Because by mistake I said Packard when I meant Lincoln.  I'm old.

For me it's the Cadillac and Packard tied for 1st and the Lincoln trailing far behind.
