Go ahead, guess my pick.😁
Pontiac. It's sleek compared to the boxy DeSoto.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
DeSoto all the way. That grille......
As a lifelong Pontiac lover I much prefer the styling of it over the comparatively conservative DeSoto.
Some days these "Which Ones?" are no-brainers for me. Today, is one of those days.
I vote the DESOTO without any hesitation over the stodgy, suspenders ridden, old looking Pontiac.
That GRILL on the DESOTO is a major part of my decision. It's one of my favorite Grills of all 50's cars.

Don't like Pontiac before '57. Don't like DeSoto before '55, especially the overbearing grill on today's choice. No interest today.
what a brilliant double! no way I'm splitting these 2, tie.
I'm going with the Pontiac. Some time around 1955 our family car was a '50 Pontiac Catalina. The DeSoto is so typical of the Chrysler Corp from this era with its uninspiring look-a-like designs. That being said, all cars are worthy of 5 seconds under the spotlight.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
