Buick! This Chrysler looks too much like a DeSoto/Dodge/Plymouth of the same year, while the Buick is much more distinctive.

Definitely going with the Buick,always loved the Torpedo backs....caddy’s , Oldsmobile’s Pontiac’s
Buick. Love its looks, if not the grille.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
As already stated, the Buick is distinctive, the Chrysler is doesn't stand out like the Buick.

By a LANDSIDE, it's the BUICK!
Next to the Chrysler, the Buick looks years ahead in styling. And man, that toothy Grille really clinches my vote. I also liked the "Fastback" look of the Buick, as it seemed have an "car in motion" perception to it. While General Motors was moving forward in design, Chrysler seemed to stay lost in the 40's for several more years.
My Dad owned a real '50 Buick just like the photo, with the exception of it being Gray. I was just 7 years old at the time and I remember him a cushion on the front seat for me to sit on, so that I could see out the window. We didn't have car seats in those days, nor were there restrictions on kids sitting in the front. Amazingly, I'm still alive.
Yup, I'd "Really Rather Have the Buick".

I think everyone would say the Buick in this year. The Chrysler just looks like a box.
I like both cars but the Buick torpedo back styling (in spite of its overbite grille) makes the Chrysler look much older. I used to really dislike the 50 Buick grille but now appreciate it for simply being so very different. I suspect GM got negative feedback about it though, as it was a one year feature that, to my knowledge, no one else copied.
Chrysler were still in their staid mode at this time, whilst G.M were racing ahead of the style pack. And where would we be without that great expression "Grinning like a Buick"?
Don't really care for the Chrysler but, hate the Buick. Hence a vote for the lessor of two evils.
Buick for me. Back when these cars were new I didn't care for the grill but over the years I have learned to like it for it's uniqueness.
