@kevins Lackanookie threats are to be taken seriously....but still....his project sounded great.....and in most seasons he could have slept in that spacious car. Hmmmmm.
My brother in
law (Billy, of course) was a RR engineer from Myra Kentucky, and was making good money. He was on call and worked crazy big hours. He met my sister here in Ohio when he was temporarily transferred and they became engaged. He came up to meet the family and pulled up in his daily driver, a red 66 350 horse Corvette roadster. He was into older Buicks in a big way, especially ‘50’s, along with his friends in that area. They would “swap” watches, knives, and cars, so he was always working on one project or another. He told me that he loved a challenge, and it was real hard to hop up the old nailheads because of a lack of speed parts. As far as lackanookie threats Jack, I’m 71 and have been neutered, uh I mean married 54 years, so no biggie!
