Easy one. LINCOLN! Looks a decade newer than the Packard. The Lincoln has a look of speed, even when standing still. The front grille and headlight treatment are modern and stylish. The Packard on the other hand looks like it's yesterday's news.

I voted Packard. To my eyes the Packard looks every bit as modern as the Lincoln. It also speaks of class and refinement the Lincoln did not have. I like the style of the ‘52 to ‘54 Lincoln’s, but they just looked like a “gussied up” Mercury. The Packard has more distinction.

Well said John M.; I agree.
I really, really want to agree with John M., Jack, and other Packard adherents, but Lincoln was all new for 1952 and shows it. This was fine styling, even by the standards of that time. While the Mayfair trim, especially on the rear quarter panels, has a "tacked on" appearance. For these 2-door hardtops in 1952, my choice, regretfully, is Lincoln.
This one is tough. Before looking at the pics I would have gone with the Packard. After much internal debate I voted for the Lincoln.
