DeSoto, especially as pictured; that color really makes it!

Both are gorgeous early Fifties American full-size sedans. Nice rides !
Ditto for the DeSoto.

Desoto fierce grill grrrrr! Does it for me
Of course you guys already know my answer. The DeSoto is ok too. I dont know who was trying to out tooth the other, DeSoto or Buick.😁
Not fond of either one, but I prefer the DeSoto.
'53 I would have bought a Mercury.
These two are very close to a tie for me but I will give the nod to Pontiac to acknowledge the Chief and also just because I'm a life long fan of the car.
Desoto for me.

I vote a rare TIE. I actually like the DeSoto grill and look better than the Pontiac, but my Dad owned each of these cars when I was a boy and each were favorites at the time. Of course as is the case often for me, there are stories that forever are dear to my heart with both cars.

The DeSoto is striking! Love the grill, the color combo sets it apart from the crowd and the wire wheels are the icing on the cake. My vote goes to the Pontiac for sentimental reasons. Back in the mid '50s we had a '50 Catalina which looked quite similar to the '53 pictured.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
