The lavish amount of chrome on the front-end of the Packard wins me over today!

I voted for the Lincoln.  I have never cared for Packards.

The cleaner look of the Lincoln makes it my pick.

Lincoln for me too. It may not look sufficiently premium, but the Packard has too much chrome.

WOW, what a comparison today John - you killed it!

Although I love Packard's; this isn't one of my very favorites. And despite the unfinished 'look' of the headlights, I like the overall appearance of the Capri for today's win.

I like the Lincoln.  Packard really needed to be more competitive with their styling even though the Packard is iconic

Not a fan of the plucked look of this year Lincoln.  Packard gets the nod; although I do prefer the earlier years of this body style.

Oh man, how fast can I type L I N C O L N ?  To my eyes the Lincoln looks years ahead in modern styling compared to the bulbous and frumpy looking Packard.

You picked two of my favourite American vehicles for 1954 here John. I did pick the Packard as best overall but I was conflicted.

The '53 Lincoln Capri as the prelude to the equally beautiful '54.  I'd drive and put this beauty in my garage anytime.

@georgeschire Reminds of one of those “spot the differences” puzzles!

A tough choice, one of my favorite Lincoln years, but the '54 Packard is my all-time favorite Packard, so that's my choice.
