I totally love both cars! But the Merc has way too much going for it to be overlooked by it's older & wiser sibling - I voted for the Mercury.

I love '54 - '56 Mercury.  '56 the Lincoln was beautiful but not the '55.

I like both but the Lincoln looks less cluttered and has the cleaner lines of this pairing.

I like both.  But as much as I like the Mercury, I LIKE THE LINCOLN better.  Yes, it's older styling, and that's something I never understood, being the Lincoln was the top dog of the Ford family, but none the less that older styling was still looking good for '55.  LINCOLN FOR ME!

The Mercury was the predecessor of the 56 Lincoln Premier IMO the most beautiful post war Lincoln. I pick Mercury for that reason.
