Iconic and classic for the masses Chevrolet. One vote please John.
Pontiac for me. I like its looks better, and to me the Chevy is over-exposed.

57 Chevy to go along with a rock and roll heart! 😎🎸

I love both cars but give the very close nod to the cleaner Chevy styling.
I agree that the Chevy is overexposed. But that's only because the design was perfect for the times. It's iconic for a reason. People who don't know much about cars, who may not even know it's a '57, know it's a Chevy that is emblematic of all fifties cars.

Even thought I am not a fan of the Chevy, I still liked it better than the Pontiac.
My favorite Pontiac of the '50's. '57 Chevy is too common every car show/cruise seems to have a dozen of them, I love the front but dislike the rear, put the '55 rear on a '57 great.
PONTIAC all day long for me! I'm sick of seeing '57 Chevy's in abundance at every car show. They are no longer rare, just overexposed. If at a car show and there were 10 Chevy's and only 1 Pontiac, my eyes will only focus on the Pontiac.

The color combo shown looks fantastic on both cars up close.
Help me with this. Are we saying that the design of the Chevy is inferior because we see a lot of them at car shows? Wouldn't that indicate that more people want to have them?

Visual saturation I guess. It's true that the '55 and '57 Chevys seem to be quite prevalent at car shows I have attended over the years. Personally I only tire of the red/off white color combos on them; but there are so very many color combos on display, both factory and other, that I still love seeing them. Same goes for the '55 and '56 Fords but to a lesser degree in my experience.
IMO saying you're sick of seeing too many '57 Chevys is like saying you're sick of seeing too many beautiful women or that you have too much money or you're too thin.

I can't get enough '55s or even '56s, but I just don't cater to the '57 Chevy.

The Pontiac is nice, but the '57 Chevrolet is Iconic!
