The Olds is more to my taste but the DeSoto style is impressively gorgeous.

Seriously? All who have followed me on this Forum over the last two decades know which one I voted for. Here's a hint: It WAS NOT the DeSoto.

Even though '57 is my favorite year for Oldsmobile, to my eye the "Flight-Sweep" styling of the DeSoto blows it away and gets my vote.

Love both but Oldsmobile is one of my favorites of all time not only for style but build quality.

Olds styling for me by far in 1957. DeSoto in '56 and '58 though.

One of the few Oldsmobiles I like but, the '57 is my favorite DeSoto with the lower wider look,voted DeSoto.

My decision is the delovely DeSoto. "With Flight Sweep styling and Torsion-Aire Ride, the 1957 DeSoto is the most exciting car in the world today! See your DeSoto Plymouth dealer tomorrow. And tell him Groucho sent you."

Both are beautiful, but it's the longtime favorite Oldsmobile that wins my vote.
