Oh yeah, the Starlight Hard top!
I’d go with the Starlight, less fishy. 🥴

No oil painting, these. I'll take the Starlight also. Its face is less objectionable.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I have no interest in either. The noses just turn me off.
Agreed, John. Possibly the most desperately ugly attempt at a "facelift" ever seen on any car.

From my perspective, the overall shape of these two Packards is okay, but the details get a little wonky. The fiberglass nose created for the Hawk was not one of Duncan McRae's best efforts. I think that the quad headlamps grafted on the Starlight Hardtop are hideous. Nonetheless I feel a good measure of enjoyment on the rare occasions I see one of these cars in person.
@dave_larsen I guess these design changes were a last ditch very inexpensive attempt at survival by a company on the verge of collapse. Quite sad for the marque to end this way.
Unlike most, I find that Packard Hawk rather attractive. The Starlight just looks too cluttered.
Neither are award winning IMO but the Starlight is less so.
A TIE for both being equally odd and frog looking. I don't like either one of them.

John! Like them or not, this is an amazing comparo! Well done and thought-provoking! I'll go for the Starlight, but I agree that it's a bit cluttered.
