Poll: Which '58? (3/21-22/2021)

For me, not even close.  The Ford was the result of "Make that '57 look different."  The Plymouth was "Clean up that '57."  Of course, in reality I owned the '56 version of that Plymouth.  Good car, too!

I much prefer the styling of the Ford over the Plymouth for '58.  Actually same goes for the entire decade; in spite of the fact that I don't mind the Plymouth styling through that decade at all; especially nice looking in '55 & '56.  IMHO Ford did a superior job of styling its cars all through the 50s though.

Ford please. For me the Dodge would have been a tie, just don't care for the Plymouth styling.

Plymouth. The 1958 Ford lost the plot IMO.

While I like the Ford, the leap forward by Chrysler means a more modern streamlined look for the Plymouth. This time I pick it.

I like the '58 Ford a lot but the Plymouth even better!

Slight nod to the Plymouth. If we were looking at 57, it would be a tie.

Had a 1958 Ford Retractable and amazingly the most reliable thing about it was that wild and crazy power roof! Lol

I voted for tie but I really liked the 58 Ford taillights.

I would take the '58 Ford over the '57 Ford anytime.  When the '58 Ford is up against a '58 Plymouth, I vote Plymouth.  Now, give me a comparison of the '59 Ford vs. the '59 Plymouth and I vote Ford.

Never cares for the Plymouths of the '50's even though I consider myself a big MOPAR fan. The '58 Fords have really started to grow on me in the past few years,

now I really like them.
