Poll: Which '59? (12/30/2025)

The Edsel looks more modern with the headlights designed as part of the toned down grille. I like the side trim too.

At the 1958 Brussels Universal Expo, the US Pavilion exhibited the 1959 Ford as the best designed car of the year and it also received the Paris Gold Medal for Styling. Despite this, I find the Edsel most intriguing at this point and choose it.

The Edsel styling is more coherent and without excess.

@jack-dodds We agree on the 56 Victoria and don't disagree with your points on the 57/59s.

'57 to '59 I prefer the '58 front & side trim but prefer the '57 round tail lights.
