....."You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch."  Sorry; that was the first thing I thought about with this super hard decision. (Kidding John, I LOVE you man) I went with the Pontiac, by the slimmest of margins.

The '62 Impala is my fave year for Chevrolet in the 60s; it wins by a narrow margin over the beautiful Pontiac.  In the shoulder years it would be Pontiac.

A tough one for me as I really like both but I pick the Impala. A friend had an identical  blue one with a 409/409 HP four speed and let me drive it once....that was over twenty years ago and I can still remember the raw power that car had when both four barrels kicked in and slammed me back against the seat.

"62 Chevy is my #3, #1 is the '55, #2 '64, #4 '52, #5 '61.  Pontiac is my choice over Chevy in '61 - '64.
