Cadillac was improving in my opinion during this period but to me the Chrysler was superior in both ride and handling. I'd like that 300H please.

My vote goes to CADILLAC!  The Chrysler would have gotten my vote, if the Fins hadn't been plucked off for '62.

Chrysler! Love that body style, and superior drivetrain.

I love the refined '62 Cadillac, but I have to go with the Chrysler.  My family had a '62 Newport 4-door sedan in Seascape green.  Looking back it was probably one of the best car we ever had.  I can still recall the unique whine of that Chrysler starter cranking over the 361 cid engine even today.

That is why I love the '62, no fins!

My favorite Caddy against my favorite Chrysler; Chrysler gets my vote for drive train & ride, bodystyling alone is a tie for me.

The Cadillac is nice, but the 300 is incredible. After the 57, it is my favorite 300 style. The smooth rear with that front styling is to die for.

To my eyes, Chrysler's of 1960 and 1961 had the most beautiful Fins of any other car.  When they were completely gone in 1962, I was disappointed.

For me it's too much apples-to-oranges, luxo cruiser vs performance sedan so I really can't vote. For looks I go with the '62 Cadillac, my favorite year.  For performance it's the Chrysler.
