That Corvette split window is likely the best Corvette of the bunch but compared to any Jaguar E-Type, forget it. I realize that for many Americans, that is just sacrilege, but I'm from somewhere else.

Really love the early E-types but the Corvette clearly wins this one.

Absolutely love both of these sports cars.  Vette is my favorite American car of this class and the E-Type is my favorite European sports car; so it's apples vs. oranges for me.  If I had to choose between the two the nod would go to Corvette as it just doesn't get any better IMO.

So tough. The E-type is gorgeous, but I'll go Corvette for American reliability.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

This is tough… going with the Vette… but would like to
drive the XKE.

If it were any other Corvette, I would take the E-Type. But...

Tough choice of two cars from completely different worlds.

The Jag is arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever built.

But the Corvette is what really turns me on.

Both are worth a boatload of money.

Vette over Jag, before Vetts the XK120 or XK140 my favorite sports car, after the baby birds '55 - '57, the Vette '58 to '67.  After that I just don't care for 2 seat sports cars including the Vette.

I always thought the Jag was very nice, but then I looked better and noticed some clumsy items like the rear-lights and the exhausts.

Also the windshield is not raked enough to make it a harmonized whole.

The Corvette is much more harmonized.

And then there is reliability....

Have I ever told you about these two Dutch brothers that collected very low mile cars ?

They also had an E-type....

They loved it, but it was totally unreliable.

It the morning it just wouldn't start.......and then in the afternoon it would.......without any problems.

But then again, I am totally biased towards US-cars.

They just "feel" right to me.....

This one is difficult for me, but I can't pass on the split window coupe.
