This time I'll go for that well designed Mercury Marauder. Thanks John for all your efforts on this series.

Mercury gets my vote. '65 is the year that, to my eye, Oldsmobile styling went "off the rails" and continued for many years after. They just looked "bulky" compared to, for example, the equivalent Buicks.

Mercury for me. It looks so much better than the Oldsmobile!

OLDSMOBILE for me!  I was never a fan of the '65 Mercury or Ford "square boxy" styling.  The Olds looks so much fresher and rich looking to me.

I really was impressed with the newly designed Mercury in '65.  Olds looks a bit bulky by comparison.

The Mercury is what stands out.  Sorry George @georgeshire to me the Olds is just a plain Jane.

No interest in either, really.  Back in 1965 when I was an established car-obsessed 11 year old, I much preferred the equivalent, medium-priced field Mopars of the day, the all-new Chrysler New Yorker/300 and Dodge Polara/Monaco.  I still do.

In '65 GM knocked it out of the park EXCEPT for the Oldsmobile so the Mercury gets my vote.
