Oh no contest btwn those 2...Pontiac !!!!
I love the roofline, those vertical headlights 'exposed' styling and that curvaceous sweep line that comes over the rear tire.

I voted for the GP. But, to my eye, this was the first year the GP began to bloat. I had to think about this and study John's picture to figure out why. Becasue I love the '65 Bonneville and Catlina coupes. I think they are the high water mark for Pontiac in the 60s. I really like the GP as well, but it somehow seems larger and less graceful and elegant in its lines. I finally came to the conclusion that those vertical bars in the grille are a distraction and cause the eye to halt when they're encountered. The rest of the design is flowing and elegant with every line moving in harmony with the rest. Not that grille, though. This is certainly not a show stopper for me, I love the car. I just don't love it as much as the same vintage Bonneville.

I like the 65 Pontiacs including the GP! If shopping Pontiac back then I would have the GP in 64 but the Lemans or GTO in 65.

PONTIAC for me. Admittedly though, it was tougher than I thought it be to vote on this one. The Dodge is more compact and cleaner looking to my eye. I like that. But the Pontiac has a sleeker look and I love the stacked headlights and the incredible dashboard. The color also plays a little in my vote, as I just can't get excited about a white car. White on any car is to my eyes, is void of any personality and adds a certain blandness to it. I'm not sure I even consider white a color.

I agree; it's Pontiac for me.

Interesting that you see this design feature as described John. I see it exactly the same and have from the first time I set eyes on the '65 Pontiac GP. For me the GP continued to spiral in its styling after 1965. IMHO the '63 is the best of them all by far.
@jack-dodds, I agree. Although, I've become quite fond of the 62 model too. It had subtle but very classy design elements.
