Mustang for me; especially this monster. I prefer the first couple years of Barracuda to the late 60s design.
Tie this morning. I like both. I understand Plymouth got into the muscle car competition either late or they were just lazy. They should never have based it on the Valiant. I see shades of Valiant until 1970.
MUSTANG!!! No contest with the other one.

I meant to vote tie. I do prefer the notch back style Barracuda though.

Mustang. IMO 1969 & 1970 are the best looking of the lot.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I like the Barracuda, but I love the Mustang. I only love 5 pony cars and in this order 1.'70 Challenger T/A, 2.'69 Mustang Boss 429, 3.'68 Cougar GTE, 4.'68 Mustang GT, 5.'71 Cuda. I liked the '70 Mustang, '67 Mustang, '67 Cougar, '70 Challenger R/T, '70 Cuda. Otherwise I don't care for pony cars and would not buy any of them as I would much prefer mid-size cars to purchase, however I would not turn down any of the ones listed above if a bargain.
Mustang please today.
Mustang. Never was a fan of the Barracuda but when the Cuda came along I thought I liked it but the Challenger overshadowed it IMO.
Tony, loving the "Boss" in scale!I didn't like the Barracuda as much as the Cuda. Mustangs are nice, the Boss Mustangs are nice and the Big Boss 429 is ACES!! Ford for the win.

I thought the "Boss" reference was to Bruce...

When it comes to '70 muscle cars there are only two that I like. The Trans-Am & the 'cuda.

No-Contest! MUSTANG! The other car isn't even a little close to being appealing and it ranks high on my "Ugly Meter".

@car224 I guess there's two ways of looking at the situation Chryco faced when the Mustang exploded onto the scene in '64 1/2. GM took a full two years to "catch up" but produced a fairly strong contender with their Camaro. Chryco got their response done on the cheap but very quickly by utilizing the Valiant base, which sold in decent numbers for several years ahead of GM. Personally I think Chryco made the right call and used their basic 'Cuda design for a full five years with decent sales. The Mustang was a sales juggernaut which was incredible....no one could have beat it or even come close. Personally my favorite Barracuda is their first couple of years, before they deleted that signature rear window but I definitely do understand that some see it as just a trumped up Valiant.
@100ford2003 I thought the "Boss" reference was to Bruce...
Steve, are you talking Springsteen or Parsons? Bruce Parsons aka Brush is "the boss" here on the Forum!
