As much as I prefer the looks of the Plymouth, contemporary road tests widely considered the 1970 Chevelle 454 the pinnacle of muscle cars. It wins for me.

I must go along with Ed on this one and vote Chevelle.  It had a bit better build quality too IMO.  I LOVE both of these cars though.

I really like both a lot.  But the CHEVELLE wins out because of the incredible roof-line styling.  Back in the day, I'd have chosen the GTX.

The Plymouth is my choice as I prefer and like its styling. I also think it might have a bit less of a blindspot due to its roofline.

I went with the Chevy here.  I would not turn down the GTX. 👍

I love this Plymouth body style. Hard to imagine they could improve on the gorgeous '68/'69, but somehow they did!

Like the Chevelle, best year of all the Chevelles.  Love the Plymouth '70 was the best year for the GTX.

As much as I love the Chevelle.  The Plymouth is still my favorite.

Love them both, but it's the SS that gets my vote.
