I never chose one over the other before. Interesting choice John.
I think I'll go with the '60. The sculpture, especially up front, is smoother, and though the '59's chrome trim delineates the eye brows and rear wings, I appreciate the sixty's silky transitions and more subtle approach to the rear fins.
1959 for me. The 1960 is pretty, but it seems neutered after that evil 1959.

Going with the 60, looks more like a Buick to me. The 59 is sharp and sinister but almost too cartoonish.

Back in the day, my seven-year-old eyes loved the '59 Buick...until they saw the '60. I still lean toward the '60. Great pics, John. Thanks.

I can (kind of) appreciate the argument that the 1960 styling was a subtle and refined re-working, but can never really shake the feeling that the '59 was an enormously bold and coherent nose-to-tail styling job, and the '60 was disappointingly "watered down" by comparison. It's the '59 for me, thank you very much.

'60 please, the only full-size Buick I loved. Liked the '61, but loved the '60. Don't care for any other full-size Buicks.
I like what Tony said ! Yep, the '60 is my pick too. I especially like the lower body trim / paint style.

1959 was the only year that I can recall that Buick abandoned their ventiports. I like both of these cars but I am partial to the 1960.

They were absent in '58 too.

Both are beautiful but I'm going with the '59 for the "in your face styling" as opposed to the "lumps and bumps" look of the '60.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
