I so do appreciate the work you put in with these John, and you always find great pics from which to choose.
I love them both for totally different reasons. Today, I'm going more Cadillac-Traditional - 1956 please sir!
I like both but that 57 is gorgeous! 👀👍

To my eye the '56 has more of a "presence". It looks the part of a luxury car. The '57, if parked next to a '58 Impala or Bonneville, wouldn't stand out as the much higher-level and more expensive car that it is.

I'll take the lithe 1957. It looks like the future.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
My all time favorite Cadillac the 1957. The '56 just looks fat/bloated and old. Never cared for Cadillac and most luxury cars. There are only 2 exceptions being the '57 & '62, for some reason they stand out to me.
I don't really care for either, probably because of the bullet bumpers. But I picked the 57 over the 56.

Yup! This is always a nice little interlude in my day, and I look forward to it. I'm voting with Tony today!

Post war Cadillacs have never been on my favourite list. Just too big and too soft a ride in the main. That said, the 57 is the best looking of this pair. As usual John, interesting choices.
I'm not a Caddy fan but I'd choose the '57 if my life depended on it.
@perrone1 What Tony said John. Your comparisons are the high lite of my mornings.
John...I agree with Tony, JK and Bob; I really appreciate your daily comparisons and look forward to them as I sip my morning coffee. I LOVE both of these cars but give the nod to the more edgy, aggressive styling of the '57; my fave Caddy of its decade.
@bob-jackman Thank you Sir for the kind words!
