57 58 56. 57 single headlights is the tie breaker. The 58 is handsome as well.

57, 56, 58. The latter gets too busy for me.

'57 my all time favorite Caddy! '57, '58, '56. The tail fins & quad headlights on the '58 don't do it justice hence the '57 wins.
I’m not a Cadillac fan but the best looking to me in this grouping is the 1958. Other two, a tie.
The '56!
I've repeated this many times that Cadillac was working towards perfection with their '53's, '54's, and '55's, and then in '56, BAM! They got it! I've always thought 1956 was a banner year for styling for the Big Three, but of all that came off the assembly line that year, the '56 Cadillac was the most beautiful car of them all.
To my eyes, only the '56 Lincoln is a close runner-up. When the '57 Caddy arrived, I still liked it, but for me, it didn't garner the draw that the '56 did. And neither did the '57 Lincoln. It was the crazy fins on both that really detracted from the beauty that the '56's oozed. And those '58's, well let's just say, the less said, the better.
The most beautiful car of the 50's!

...the first car I rode in was a 1958 Cadillac.
These Cadillacs are all really nice looking; my order of preference is '57, '56, and '58. I prefer the more subdued fins and single headlight styling of the beautiful '57; the '58 seems a bit overdone by comparison but it is still an attractive car. The classy '56 is IMO an iconic and timeless design which improves on the previous 2 years very well.
Cadillac '53 to '56 didn't look good to me because the bullets/bumper guards/bumperettes/what ever you call them are way too big and stick out way too far and I just don't care for the tail lights sticking up higher than the fender. On my loved '57 the bullets are too big giving the '58 the edge but the '57 fins and single headlight clinch the #1 spot followed closely by the '62 then the '58 then the '61, don't care for any of the other '50 - '70's Cadillacs.
I much prefer the Lincolns of this period, however for its sheer audacity, I love the '58 with alloyed rear fender skirts.
Cadillac was looking pretty dowdy in 1956 with that high, bulbous hood compared to the Imperial and Lincoln for '56 with their much flatter, lower hoodlines. The '57 looked much more modern but a bit too downsized to me. The '58 appears to have a more imposing presence so it wins my vote.
