OMG! I'll probably change my mind 4 times before I finish this post.

First to last: Cadillac, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, Chevy.

Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Chevy, Buick. Like Tony that could be different in 5 minutes.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

For me it's based strictly on looks and not sticker price.  Pontiac, Chevy, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Buick; but the last 3 placings could change tomorrow.  Not a bad looking car in the bunch.

Pontiac first followed by Chevrolet. The rest a tie. Jack’s choices are appropriate and I can agree with him.

'61 excellent year for styling. Pontiac, Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile. Funny the Olds went from last in '61 to first in '62, tie with Pontiac in '63.  Third to Pontiac first & Chevrolets second in '64.

Would have bought a Pontiac back in the day;

61 Bonneville
61 (1)
61 (1)

WOW!  You and I will have to respectfully disagree about '61 being an "excellent year for styling".  I though '61, along with '60 were two of their worst styling years.  To each their own though.

1. Chevrolet  2. Cadillac

Then the other three are equal on the ugly meter.  All the "pointy" fenders and "curved" bumpers are not attractive to my eyes.

All are such beautiful General Motors automobiles and I would be delighted to drive any one of these cars ! Here is a picture my Dad took of me and my sister at the Buick display just before the 1961 Chicago Automobile Show opened at the giant McCormick Place exhibition hall.  I am sure I was in wonderland !

I also respectfully disagree, '58 & '59 were the ugliest styling years and '60 as close. '61 - '64 were gorgeously styled years for all full-size cars. Exceptions being Dodge & Plymouth. Just one mans opinion
