I've always loved the L-29 Cord besides it being the first production front wheel drive, as @david-green states, the exaggerated flair of the front fender - often painted on the underside in contrast has always made this quite unique. Question still rages as to whether this Cord was designed by Count Alexis De Sakhnoffsky or Gordon Buehrig? Did Buehrig design the 810 and Sakhnoffsky the special body as produced by Esval?
Here we see the Count with an Auburn speedster. If someone could answer this I'd be pleased.
The Cord for it's uniqueness and the Packard for it's elegance.
Cord for looks and front wheel drive.
what magnificent automobiles, dead set tie for me.
Funny, Packard for its looks and RWD.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
