Poll: Which DeSoto? (7/6/2026)

1956, one of my favorite American cars of the 1950s. It would have been tougher if it was up against the 1959.

I voted no interest. I was going to vote for the 58 DeSoto. Then I noticed the head light and grill resembled the 58 Ford, which I also don't like.

Beautiful cars and both Groucho approved !

I like the Chrysler version of these much better; especially the '56. However, DeSoto-wise, I prefer the '58.

Love the '57 with the single headlight, but today it is the '56 or the '58, I'll take the '56 please.  '57, '56, '55, '58.

I voted tie. I like them both equally.😁

The '56 for me. My favorite 50s DeSoto, the '59 is 2nd.

I like both but do prefer the 1956 lines more.

I much prefer the look of the '55/'56.

Tie. I like em both. The 56 is a nice car. I agree Chrysler is nicer. I once saw a 56 that was used as a work car.  It was dirty and beat up but you see the design underneath. 57 is my least favorite Desoto  but it is a Desoto with a bad grill and worse taillights but still a Desoto and deserves a nod

It's the '56 that gets my vote, but I like the '58 too.
