1966 followed by 1965 and 1964 for me here. Liked the 1966 only slightly more than the 1965.

'65, as far as I am concerned, was a banner year for all manufacturers. My line up would be '65, '66, '64.

When I graduated high school (1971), my graduation gift from my folks was a ‘63 Plymouth Fury…so, that car has a special place in my heart…the ‘64 depicted here is very close to the ‘63 (basically, the front clip is different)…so, even though I like the others also, I had to select the ‘64.

I see the '64 as a slight disappointment after the incredible looking '63 (not in this comparison), but then a spectacular recovery with the gorgeous '65, and finally the '66 as a "should have left the '65 styling alone, because it was perfect.

So my ranking is:

#1) 1965, #2) 1966, #3) 1964.

And another comment regarding the '63 (not pictured), it was a comeback in styling after the '62 (also not pictured) that was odd looking from bumper to bumper.

I pick the '65 by a narrow margin over the '64; with the '66 third.  I really like the styling of the '65; especially the Fury; however IMHO the '66 grille and especially tail lights really detracted from the previous year.  I have always liked the comparatively squarish '64 design very much; the HT in particular.

'65 please, followed very closely by the '66 with the '64 in a distant third. Front view.

I prefer the '65 rear first with the '64 second, '66 last.
